Hardened by experience

Our cybersecurity leaders, analysts and instructors average over 25 years of hands-on industry IT and cybersecurity experience. Our team has worked in Fortune 500 companies, international NGOs, regional non-profits, and government entities. We bring this discipline, passion and experience in a practical and efficient manner to discern and serve your specific needs.

A core of education

The foundation of everything we do is rooted in education. We were founded by Montreat College and because of that we have some of the best, brightest, and most apt minds set to the task of educating Western North Carolina’s next-generation workforce.

Backed by 100 years of education

The Carolina Cyber Center (C3) began as a vision from Dr. Paul Maurer, President of Montreat College, in 2017 to leverage Montreat College’s tremendous progress in cyber education.

Montreat’s cybersecurity program uses the college’s 104-year history of excellence in liberal arts education to develop adaptable, curious, ethical and disciplined leaders. Carolina Cyber Center was founded to scale this program to serve a whole region and create a nationwide demonstration of cybersecurity leadership.

Montreat College has been awarded the prestigious designation of Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) from the NSA and DHS. We are now leveraging this commitment to excellence with our partners to deliver profoundly distinctive improvements to cybersecurity education.

Built for Character >

We give cyber professionals more than the baseline resume items that get them an interview or a job— we want them to have the skills and character that give them a long, prosperous career in the industry.
